Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) are the documents that define what services a child with learning disabilities will receive at school. They can run 50 to 75 pages, are written in technical and legal language, and are often only available in English. Many parents wait months for a Spanish translation and arrive at their IEP meeting without fully understanding what was agreed about their child's education.
